UVA Leading Grant to Advance Renewable Natural Gas

Recently the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced $64.7 million in funding for projects focused on producing cost-effective, low-carbon biofuels. These research and development investments are seeking to advance technologies that create replacements for petroleum fuels used in heavy-duty transportation and accelerate a path to a net-zero emissions economy by 2050.

As part of National Drive Electric Week, Blue Ridge Bank and VCC will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate two new electric vehicle charging stations at the bank’s Robious Road branch. Light Pole EV Chargers Take Off at Shenandoah Valley Airport

The Shenandoah Valley Airport has something to celebrate! Four new Level 1 electric charger parking spaces were recently designated for electric vehicle (EV) drivers. Pole-mounted EV chargers were integrated into an existing light pole, making installation and use a breeze. Most Recent EIA Reports show Increase in U.S. Ethanol Production Capacity and Decrease in U.S. Biodiesel Production Capacity
