2024 Harrisonburg Solar Tour

Harrisonburg and Rockingham locals: mark your calendars for October 5th at 1 PM EST! In coordination with the ASES National Solar Tour and JMU’s Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy, learn about solar energy installations straight from your neighbors at this free community event.
Meet us at JMU’s East Campus Hillside for a tour of the first university solar array in Virginia to receive Pollinator-Smart Certification. From there, carpool in electric vehicles to meet homeowners and tour local solar-powered homes. We plan to have the tour wrap up back at JMU at 4pm.
