2024 Transit + Rail Advocacy Day & Big BBQ Bash

Please join Virginia Transit Association for our annual advocacy day at Virginia’s Capitol. Transit advocates throughout the Commonwealth will begin the day with a meeting in Richmond led by state transit and rail policy leaders; coffee and light breakfast will be provided. Following the briefing, VTA members and advocates will spend the day “on the Hill” meeting with their representatives and sharing their local legislative priorities. VTA will wrap up the day with the Big BBQ Bash reception at Main Street Station with over 300 legislators, transit industry professionals and decision-makers from across the Commonwealth.
