Dominion Energy IIJA/Electric School Bus Infrastructure Program Webinar

Please join Virginia Clean Cities stakeholder Dominion Energy for a webinar on Tuesday, July 12 to discuss significant rebate opportunities for electric school bus funding through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). Dominion would like to hear about your interests in pursuing Electric School Bus (eSB) rebates and discuss how they can help make your transition easier and more affordable while maximizing available federal funding.
Over the next 5 years, the IIJA provides $5 billion in funding to school districts to replace existing diesel school buses with electric and zero-emission (ZE) models. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the first rebate funding opportunity in May, offering $500 million to jumpstart the transition. The deadline for EPA rebate application submission is August 19, 2022.
It’s never too early to start to prepare to make this shift. Even if your district is planning to take advantage of eSB grant funding later this year or in 2023, Dominion welcomes the opportunity to discuss your plans to electrify your fleet as soon as possible.
