Next Wednesday on October 30th, community members and students and faculty from 5 regional universities will gather at JMU for the Sustainable Development in Action event, “Moving Forward Together: Climate Resilience in the Valley.” You will hear from local practitioners and experts about local climate issues and initiatives to address the warming climate. This is a great opportunity for students to learn substantive info about their local environment! Details below.
You are invited to Sustainable Shenandoah Valley’s Sustainable Development in Action event, Moving Forward Together: Climate Resilience in the Valley at JMU, Hartman Hall Forum (room 2021) on October 30 at 7:00pm.
This event is related to “Climate Resilience in the Valley.” Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with local experts and activists to learn how climate change is impacting the Shenandoah Valley, and the active efforts taking place that are working address the warming climate. VCC’s Executive Director, Alleyn Harned, will be speaking.
