The Argonne National Laboratory’s Systems Assessment Center has just announced the release of their 2020 Greenhouse gasses, Regulated Emissions, and Energy use in Technologies Model (GREET). Virginia Clean Cities, as well as other stakeholders, use this lifecycle fuel and price analysis model to “simulate energy use and emissions output of various vehicle and fuel combinations”
At Virginia Clean Cities, tools like this assist in the mission to advance air quality, provide economic opportunity to help industry, government, and others achieve vehicle advancements. We can further assist with AFLEET and GREET calculations based on local pricing information we can provide. VCC values the efforts of Argonne National Laboratories, and their technological advancements, to help VCC achieve its goals of a greener community.
