Midway through this General Assembly session a group of Virginia Clean Cities stakeholders gathered in Richmond this January 29th to discuss clean fuel priorities and to meet with legislators and governor’s office staff. The attendees gathered to break bread and connect over a breakfast reception, then explored a pre-production electric audi and traveled as teams with 6 groups and more than 60 meetings legislators and staff throughout the day. Mid day we heard from state officials at Department of Mines Minerals and Energy and from Department of Environmental Quality at the Lt Governor’s Office at the capitol.
On the following day, Conservation Lobby Day included electric vehicle demonstrations at the capitol showcased in this Virginia Business article.
Special thanks to the participants and sponsors of Clean Fuel Policy Day 2019 and stay tuned to our mailing list for this annual event.
