On August 19th, 2021, Clean Energy Fuels was the featured stakeholder for the Virginia Clean Cities Technology Happy Hour.
Mike Cecere, Clean Energy’s Regional Manager and Sahar Kamali, Clean Energy’s Director of Sustainability, joined Virginia Clean Cities to speak about Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). During the session, the pair highlighted the benefits of RNG, including its 98% domestic production and negative carbon intensity, which means that the fuel takes more carbon out of the atmosphere than it produces! Their discussion with the audience also outlined the fuel’s improvements over the last decade, developing RNG projects, and fleet applications.
To learn more about this domestically produced fuel you can view the recording and learn about RNG here or on our YouTube channel.
The Technology Happy Hour is a monthly series presented by Virginia Clean Cities aiming to connect individuals and fleets to technologies and provide a space for open discussion with technology providers.
