Fleet Electrification Webinar Series: Federal Highlights and Resources

2021 was a banner year for fleet reinvention, with the Biden Administration calling on federal, state, tribal, and local fleets to tackle the climate crisis by moving to clean and zero-emission vehicles. This webinar is an opportunity to hear what the Federal government has been doing to electrify fleets and how state, local, and tribal governments can leverage Federal resources to transition to electric vehicles (EVs). Each speaker will highlight notable fleet electrification examples or case studies.

- Federal EV Agency Roundtable (FEVAR) (Cabell Hodge, National Renewable Energy Laboratory) — Learn about the Federal Energy Management Program and FEVAR efforts to build community and support Federal government fleets transitioning to electric vehicles.
- U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO) & Clean Cities Network (Margaret Smith) — Hear about DOE programs, resources, and successes supporting fleets transitioning to affordable, domestic transportation fuels, and energy-saving technologies.
- U.S. DOE State and Alternative Fuel Provider Fleet Program (Ted Sears) — Explain the Energy Policy Act (EPAct) coverage of state and utility fleets and how agencies can leverage Alternative Fuels Data Center tools and resources on transportation electrification.
- U.S. General Services Administration (Stephanie Gresalfi) — Learn about Federal procurement mechanisms and how to use existing resources on EVs and EV infrastructure to lead by example.
