“Ride & Drive” Event in Hampton Roads

The Hampton Roads Alliance is partnering with the electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, Lion Electric, to bring an electric vehicle “Ride and Drive” event to the Hampton Roads area. This event is organized specifically to encourage and allow representatives from local government institutions to learn about, test, and ride heavy-duty electric vehicles.

The Ride and Drive event will be held on Wednesday, February 1st at Military Circle Mall in Norfolk from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. The specific location of the event is shown on the linked map here. Lion Electric will have their LION-6 (Class 6) truck and LION-C school bus available at the event. In addition to the vehicles, Lion will have staff on hand to discuss important topics like charging infrastructure, maintenance, telematics, and grant funding opportunities. Participants can sign up for one hour time slots to learn about and test the school bus and truck at the links below.
