In March 2024, the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation released the National Zero-Emission Freight Corridor Strategy, marking a significant step toward a zero-emission freight network in the U.S. by 2040. This strategy developed aims to drive investments in zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicle (ZE-MHDV) infrastructure and support electric grid and hydrogen planning.
