Reported in Loudoun Now: Last week the Leesburg Town Council approved a lease agreement to install an electric aircraft charging station at the Leesburg Executive Airport. BETA Technologies of Vermont was selected by the Airport Commission for a 10-year lease agreement. The company’s site plan includes a 320kW charging kiosk and a mobile app for customers. BETA Technologies pays an annual rental payment and shares a portion of the payments with the Town of Leesburg.
