Harrisonburg-Rockingham Sustainable Energy Fair! |

The Center for Wind Energy is pleased to be hosting the First Annual Harrisonburg-Rockingham Sustainable Energy Fair on Sunday, October 7th . This FREE event will empower homeowners through a showcase of sustainability efforts that include but are not limited to hearing from: renewable energy installers, green building developers, and home energy auditors. We will be hosting the event at the Center for Wind Energy offices at 1401 Technology Drive in Harrisonburg from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Participants will have the opportunity to network with exhibitors, attend informative presentations and participate in a local Solar Home Tour. From2:30 to 4:00 PM community members can see real-life examples of how their neighbors are harnessing free energy from the sun to generate electricity, warm and cool their homes, heat water and slash monthly utility bills and is hosted in coordination with the American Solar Energy Society’s 2018 National Solar Tour. Note: We will be encouraging electric vehicle (EV) carpooling from the 1401 Technology Dr. to the local Solar Home Tour… feel free to bring and display your own EV!
