Halifax County Public Schools Adds Five LPG School Bus with DEQ Assistance

Halifax County Public Schools continues its conversion to LPG-fuel school buses through a partnership with Virginia Clean Cities and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. VCC was able to identify Supplemental Environmental Program funding of $125,000 to help with the purchase of 5 LPG school buses. HCPS then scrapped five pre-2009 diesel school buses.
