Clean Energy Events in Fall

August 18, 2022

Fall is the season for clean energy! September kicks off National Drive Electric Week, which hosts events nationwide to raise awareness about the benefits of driving electric, and several of these events are happening in Virginia.

The first of Virginia’s Drive Electric events is the Electric Vehicle Fall Festival in Thornburg, VA. On September 18, 2022, car owners considering an EV will be able to browse a selection of electric vehicles at the car show, test drive these vehicles on a plotted course, and be able to talk directly with vendors about EV ownership. To learn more about this event and register to attend, visit National Drive Electric Week’s Electric Fall Festival.

On September 24, 2022, Virginia Beach is hosting a National Drive Electric Week event at Pembroke Mall where attendees will be able to view EV car displays from local car dealerships and personally owned vehicles. Next on the calendar for Virginia’s Drive Electric Week is the Electrics & Espresso Car Meet happening in North Chesterfield, VA on September 25, 2022. Meeting at the Starbucks in Libbie Mill, electric vehicle owners and enthusiasts are welcome to attend; and expect special surprises and activities for National Drive Electric Week. While that concludes Drive Electric Week in Virginia, on October 29th, 2022, Harrisonburg, VA will be hosting the annual Rocktown Energy Festival (REF).
