Charlottesville EV Solar Co-op
Want to Go Solar or Install a Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charger at Your Home or Business in Charlottesville? Join the Charlottesville Solar EV Charger Co-op!
Residents and businesses in Charlottesville and Albermarle County have formed a solar and EV charger co-op to make going solar and installing EV chargers easier and cheaper. Co-op members use their group buying power to get a discount and work with the support of the non-profit Solar United Neighbors of Virginia.
Home and business owners who want to install a solar energy system and/or a level 2 electric vehicle charger are encouraged to join the group. Joining the co-op is free and there’s no commitment to purchase solar panels or an EV charger.
Solar United Neighbors of Virginia is a vendor neutral, nonprofit organization that educates co-op members on solar and EV technology and provides ongoing support during and after the installation process. The group is partnering with Virginia Clean Cities and Generation 180.
