Henrico Earth Day & Energy Fair

Henrico County will host an Earth Day and Energy Fair on Friday April 22nd from 3:00-6:00 PM at the Fairfield Area Library. Learn about energy and sustainability initiatives and resources available in Henrico County.  There will be music, activities, and food truck refreshments available for purchase.  The event will be co-hosted by Henrico Libraries, Henrico Energy Management, Henrico Recreation and Parks, and Keep Henrico Beautiful. Other participating vendors will include Henrico Department of Public Works, Henricopolis Soil and Water Conservation District, Keep Henrico Beautiful, Central Virginia Waste Management Authority.

Drive Electric RVA and EV Noire will have a display of electric vehicles in the parking lot.

An organized tour of the library highlighting its green building features will be held by Quinn Evans Architects at 2:00 PM prior to the fair.  Meet in the lobby of the library to join the tour.

A reading of The Lorax will be held at 4:30 PM in the meeting room, open to all ages!

The fair is free and open to the public.
