The Administration proposed elimination of the DOE Clean Cities program in its budget earlier this year. At the same time, both the House and Senate Appropriations Committees have indicated strong bipartisan support for Clean Cities and other clean transportation programs. The government is now operating under a temporary stopgap continuing resolution and it looks like the final FY 2018 budget negotiations will not be completed until January. Meanwhile, House and Senate leaders are negotiating the final version of tax legislation, which could eliminate key incentives for various alternative fuels.
What is the outlook for these critical budget and policy decisions? What will they mean for Clean Cities and other alternative fuels programs? What can you do to ensure ongoing federal support for advancing markets for cleaner fuels and vehicles?
Please join us on our upcoming webinar as we address these questions and more. The following Washington policy experts and others will discuss strategies to continue our progress in advancing markets for alternative fuels and vehicles:
Genevieve Cullen, Electric Drive Transportation Association
Ken Brown, Transportation Energy Partners
The webinar will take place next Wednesday December 13 from 1:30-2:30 pm eastern time. Register here for the upcoming webinar.
