Virginia’s school bus fleet has achieved a major milestone by operating over 100 Thomas Jouley electric buses and accumulating more than 1 million service miles. Since early 2021, these buses have been reliable, efficient and sustainable for student transportation across the state. This deployment represents one of the largest statewide fleets of electric school buses in the country.
