Workplace Charging Challenge News

Happy Spring! With 20+ new partners since January, the Workplace Charging Challenge network of employers is now providing plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) charging access to nearly 1 million employees across the country. We are happy to share news from the Challenge and our partners, and we invite you to be a part of this exciting growth and join the Challenge. Here are few highlights from the beginning of 2015:

Ride and Drive Webinar

In January, we launched a new webinar series to address topics of interest identified by stakeholders at the Summit. For those of you who missed it, you can access the Workplace Ride and Drive webinar recording and presentation slidesonline.

Website Additions

With a recent web refresh complete, check out new content like tips on effective charging station signage and our analysts’ look at how the GHG emission reduction benefit of workplace charging compares to other subsidized commuter transportation options.

New Transportation Data Resources

Stay up to date on transportation data and market trends by subscribing to the Energy Department’s new Transportation Energy Systems Analysis newsletterand obtaining a digital copy of the recently released 2014 Vehicle Technologies Market Report.

Workplace Charging Resources

Challenge partners and ambassadors from across the country have supported workplace charging by gathering stakeholders for workshops and developing case studies and other targeted resources. Check out these new workplace charging resources from North Carolina, Chicago, and Minnesota.
