VW Settlement: Proposed Environmental Mitigation Trust Agreement Filed with Court

On September 6th, the U.S. Department of Justice submitted a proposed Volkswagen (VW) Settlement Environmental Mitigation Trust Agreement to the U.S. District Court in Northern California. The proposed agreement includes revisions to the Environmental Mitigation Trust portion of the First and Second Partial Consent Decrees of the VW Settlement. Phillips Energy Inc., a fuel-related energy provider in southeastern Virginia, says it has partnered with regional automotive repair facility Harris Garage Inc. to help area fleet operators convert vehicles to run on propane autogas.

Fredericksburg installs Electric Vehicle charging station in downtown garage

FREDERICKSBURG – The City of Fredericksburg has installed an Electric Vehicle charging station in the downtown garage that is available to the public at no cost.

The Level 2 charging station is located on the top level of the Sophia Street Parking Garage at 600 Sophia St. The station – a Schneider Electric EVlink basic model – can provide a top-off charge in less than three hours and a full charge in less than six hours.
