BMW of North America has announced details on the expansion of the ChargeNow by EVgo programs, including ChargeNow DC Fast, to more than 50 metro areas in the U.S., encompassing the entire EVgo public charging network, the largest public DC Fast charging network in the nation.

Blue Bird to Use $4.4M DOE Award to Develop Electric School Bus

In December 2016, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced that it would be awarding $15 million to organizations in an effort to accelerate the adoption of advanced and alternative fuel vehicles. Ford Motor Co. is launching a major project designed to help improve air quality as the automaker accelerates its electrification plans with 13 new global electrified vehicles (EVs) scheduled for introduction in the next five years.

DOE Data: Half of United States Broke Through Ethanol “Blend Wall” in 2015

Recent data from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) shows that gasoline consumed in 25 states and the District of Columbia contained more than 10.0 percent ethanol on average in 2015, demonstrating that the so-called “E10 Blend Wall” continues to crumble. Monday, January 9, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loans Program Office announced supplements to the existing Title XVII Innovative Clean Energy loan program (Title XVII) and clarifications to the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) loan program about the eligibility of alternative fueling infrastructure deployment and manufacturing.
