Axle Mobility is sharing free electric vehicle training for technicians and fleets to learn more about electric vehicle systems, safety and to prepare for introductory ASE certifications. The courses can be watched on your computer, phone, or tablet, come with quizzes, certificates and Spanish subtitles. Axle is continuing to add more courses, including on other low and zero-emission vehicles, and is open to suggestions and partnering organizations in the months ahead.
The Vehicle Charging Innovations for Multi-Unit Dwellings (VCI-MUD) project has collected usage data and conducted surveys and interviews with site hosts and residents in nine sites around the U.S. to evaluate user experiences for innovative EV charging technologies. NFPA’s Alternative Fuel Vehicles Safety Training is designed to help emergency responders in each state prepare for the growing number of hybrid/electric, fuel cell, and gaseous fuel trucks, buses, commercial fleets, and passenger vehicles. With over 15 million of these vehicles on the road today, it is essential that responders have a solid understanding of safety concepts associated with this new technology.
