$20 million from the Trust has been allocated for the Clean Air Communities Program. Eligible projects will be awarded to state and local governments across the Commonwealth through a competitive application process. EPA Awards $780,000 to Clean Up Buses in Virginia

PHILADELPHIA (April 24, 2020) – In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded $780,000 today to replace 39 older diesel school buses in Virginia. Committed to its sustainability goals, UPS has entered into multi-year renewable natural gas agreements with Kinetrex Energy and TruStar Energy.
